Boys' Room

I have finally "finished" the boys' room!  As finished as anything can be in a home, since decorating and organizing are rather organic as a family grows and changes.

I have tried to incorporate things that are useful and/or have some kind of significance.  One quilt my grandmother made for my mother, before she was born, the other quilt I made for my hope chest.  The pendant flags are left from A.'s first birthday.

The pictures are of the boys as newborn babies, plus a large framed vintage print of a little boy with an airplane (since Daddy flies!) and a "paper tole" girl praying, that my parents made and hung on my nursery wall as a child.

The bed is a reading corner right now and the mat on the floor is a fun play spot.  The curtain is a blackout shade that is supposed to help A. sleep late.  I don't think it's working as well as we hoped!  All the furniture was given to us from family.
